Explosion-Proof Solenoid Valves
What are Explosion-Proof Solenoid Valves
Explosion-proof solenoid valves are commonly used in working conditions and environments for transferring flammable and explosive media or dedicated to flammable and explosive hazardous areas. Different explosion-proof ratings of solenoid valves should be selected according to different environments and fluids. The coil housing of explosion-proof solenoid valves has a flameproof function to withstand the pressure of flammable and explosive gases, as well as a function to prevent the transmission of gas energy, ensuring high safety performance.
Product Features of Explosion-Proof Solenoid Valves
When the solenoid valve coil is de-energized or burned out, the manual lever can be used to open and close the solenoid valve, enabling convenient operation and stable performance.
Adopts a piston structure with excellent sealing performance.
Equipped with a precision-wound coil, which is resistant to burnout.
Working Principle of Explosion-Proof Solenoid Valves
Normally Closed (NC):
When the coil is energized, the pilot valve core is attracted, the pilot hole opens, and the upper chamber of the valve releases pressure. The piston is pushed by the medium pressure in the lower chamber, opening the solenoid valve. When the coil is de-energized, the pilot valve core resets via the spring, the pilot hole closes, and the upper chamber of the valve is pressurized through the piston orifice. With the thrust of the return spring, the solenoid valve closes.
Normally Open (NO):
When the coil is energized, the pilot hole closes, the upper chamber of the valve is pressurized through the piston orifice, and with the thrust of the return spring, the solenoid valve closes. When the coil is de-energized, the pilot valve core resets via the spring, the pilot hole opens, the upper chamber of the valve releases pressure, and the piston is pushed by the medium pressure in the lower chamber, opening the solenoid valve.
