High Pressure Solenoid Valve
What are High-Pressure Solenoid Valves
1 Definition and Application Fields
A high-pressure solenoid valve adopts a full piston structure. Its seal material is temperature-resistant, pressure-resistant, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. It uses arc-shaped precision threads and plane sealing, featuring wide versatility. With a piston structure, it offers high sensitivity, strong tightness, long service life, and zero leakage.
High-pressure solenoid valves are widely used in: water supply and drainage, healthcare, food industry, metallurgy, petrochemical industry, tobacco industry, fire-fighting equipment, building automation, power equipment, textile humidification, packaging equipment, marine industry, cleaning equipment, drying equipment, filling and metering, etc.
2 Key Features
1. Ultra-high pressure adaptation: Equipped with a piston structure for excellent sealing performance. The integrated cylindrical stainless steel valve body eliminates the risk of external leakage.
2. Durable valve core: The valve core is made of stainless steel piston type, enhancing wear resistance and ensuring stable performance. The piston ring will not be jammed by impurities in the medium.
3. Pressure-dependent sealing: Based on engineering physics principles, the sealing piston achieves tighter sealing as pressure increases, completely preventing internal leakage.

4 Working Principle
Normally Closed (NC):
When the coil is energized, the pilot valve core is attracted, the pilot hole opens, and the upper chamber of the valve releases pressure. The piston is pushed by the medium pressure in the lower chamber, opening the solenoid valve.
When the coil is de-energized, the pilot valve core resets via the return spring, the pilot hole closes, and the upper chamber of the valve is pressurized through the piston orifice. With the thrust of the return spring, the solenoid valve closes.
Normally Open (NO):
When the coil is energized, the pilot hole closes, the upper chamber of the valve is pressurized through the piston orifice, and with the thrust of the return spring, the solenoid valve closes.
When the coil is de-energized, the pilot valve core resets via the return spring, the pilot hole opens, the upper chamber of the valve releases pressure, and the piston is pushed by the medium pressure in the lower chamber, opening the solenoid valve.
5 Installation and Maintenance
1. Before installation, carefully check whether the data on the valve nameplate (e.g., voltage, temperature, medium, pressure) meets on-site requirements.
2. On-site installation of the solenoid valve must comply with the relevant provisions in the "Electrical Safety Regulations" for national explosive hazardous areas.
3. The solenoid coil must be installed firmly and reliably. The coil has a three-pin plug: the upper pin is for the grounding wire, and the left/right pins are for the working wires.
4. Clean the inside of the pipeline thoroughly before installing the solenoid valve.
5. If there are impurities in the circulating medium, a filter screen with a density of 0.5μm must be installed at the inlet of the solenoid valve.
6. When installing the solenoid valve, ensure the arrow on the valve body is consistent with the medium flow direction.
7. Horizontal installation is optimal (with the coil facing upward).
8. Non-electrical personnel shall not disassemble the electrical components of the solenoid valve.
